The building in which Adlon is located was built in 1884. The first hotel business was set up in the early 1920s and Adlon Hotell was established in 1944. We have sought to retain as much of the old architecture as possible and have created a pleasant environment blending the old with the new.

The hotel has always been privately owned and is still run independently, not through a chain or large company. Our recipe is to offer personal service and create a close contact between guests and staff.

Adlon is also an IT-hotel. This means that you can work and communicate from our hotel rooms as if you were in your own office.
