The Duminy Vendome was built during the 19th century in the garden of a covent closed in 1790. Its said that LaFayette held meetings in the Convent to prepare the French Revolution!

The hotel was completly renovated in 1997 and offers 78 rooms of a very high standard, sound proofed with air conditioning,cable TV, private safe and mini bar.
Whilst renovating the hotel the builders discovered medieval wine cellars under the hotel and these were renovated to become the beautiful breakfast room decrated in the typical "Provencal" style.
Although the Hotel doesnt have a restaurant there are many restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and budgets with a great Irish Pub and restaurant next to the Hotel!
