This central London 3 star hotel comes highly recommended and has attracted many positive reports from it's guests.
There are 55 bedrooms on 4 floors all served by a lift. For single traveller on a budget, there are a limited number of economy single rooms with shared bathroom (2 bedrooms to each well fitted out bathroom). The Montana Hotel is within 3 minutes walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station which has a direct connection to all four Heathrow Airport Terminals. From this station, it is also easy to access the West End and Theatreland, Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square and Covent Garden, High Street Kensington, Knightsbridge (Harrod's), Victoria Station, Earl's Court and Tower Hill.
Close by you will find world famous museums such as the Victoria & Albert, the Natural History, the Geological and the Science are all less than 5 minutes walk. Less than 10 minutes away are the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington High Street, and Harrods can reached in under 15 minutes. The area offers many excellent fashion shops.
The hotel rivals many more expensive local properties and should be seriously considered. It does fill up very quickly. The reception staff are extremely helpful and are happy to advise on all aspects of your stay.
