The Cranley's decor is one of elegance and sophistication. Throughout the bedrooms and reception areas there is a striking combination of Chinese blue, mustard, plum and stone, all of which are derived from the original 19th century tiling, which you'll notice in the entrance hall.

The excellently done guest rooms, of which boast elegant king-size four poster beds while the rest are furnished with half-tester canopied beds for an equally dramatic feel. Curtains and bed hangings are natural linen whilst the headboards and valances are hand embroidered, the beds are dressed with cotton sheets, large square feather pillows, and traditional pure woollen blankets.

Every room has an antique desk or writing table with conveniently placed power and telephone sockets, and most rooms also have a separate table enabling you to enjoy room service without disturbing your work.

Each bedroom is blessed with a lavish Victorian style bathroom with warm limestone and Victorian fittings, whilst behind the scenes there is modern plumbing with pressurised hot and cold water. Air-Conditioning is also standard with every room.
