Hotel Estheréa is ideally situated in the heart of the city, along one of the most picturesque and tranquil canals. The Dam, Central Station, the main shopping areas, museums and theatres are all within walking distance.
Hotel Estheréa has been a family business ever since it was founded in 1942 and is now run by the third generation.
There are 70 different, recently renovated rooms behind the 17th century façade, each with a private bathroom, telephone, television, safe, minibar and hair dryer.
The Estheréa also has a lounge with canal view and bar where coffee and tea is served free of charge for all guests from 7:30 till 22:00. You will also find foreign newspapers for sale and a small library with books in different languages that you can borrow during your stay. There are colouring books and pencils for younger guests as well as baby beds and a high chair in the breakfast room (all free of charge).
From 7:00 till 10:00, breakfast is served in the breakfast room. A Breakfast Buffet is on offer with many different kinds of bread and rolls, muffins, muesli, yoghurt, milk, corn flakes, fresh fruit, fruit salad, dutch cheese, cream cheese, ham, different kinds of jam, honey, fruit juices, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, many different kinds of tea and coffee (normal coffee, espresso or cappuccino).
The staff at the reception desk can help you check in, and out, send your mail or fax, and will also be happy to assist you in finding your way in Amsterdam (directions to museums or advice on restaurants in the neighbourhood for example).
